Rotary Education Assistant of the Year

We are proud to announce that Alicia Moyle has been awarded the Durham Road School Rotary Education Assistant of the Year — the inaugural presentation of this prestigious award.

This recognition celebrates Alicia’s initiative, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to supporting both students and staff. With warmth, care, and respectful boundaries, she has built strong relationships that help students feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Alicia’s dedication goes beyond the classroom. She has made valuable contributions to the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Group and has been a driving force behind the Speak Freely initiative, ensuring every student has a voice in their school community.

Working closely with some of our most vulnerable students in the intensive autism space, Alicia has shown remarkable compassion, adaptability, and skill across a wide range of settings.

As part of this honour, Alicia receives $800 for professional learning of her choice.

It is with immense pride that we celebrate Alicia Moyle for her outstanding service and invaluable contribution to the Durham Road School community.
